Matariki is a time to reflect on the past, appreciate and understand the present and plan for the future.
Matariki is the first public holiday to celebrate indigenous knowledge in Aotearoa.
This new learning module will give an introduction into Māori astronomy and Matariki, discuss the meaning of Matariki and the stars of Matariki, identify when Matariki rises and sets and what you can do to celebrate Matariki.
